    Satori weight

Anyone know the stock weight of this new model? It is getting great reviews in the publications, this may be the bike that gets me to convert over 29" wheels.

I think that works out to 6.9 lbs., so a little more portly.

If true, it's pretty light for a 130mm 29er aluminum frame. The complete bike is a good value (on paper - I haven't ridden it), but I wonder why Kona doesn't offer 1-2 additional versions with nicer specs.

18" frame weighed 7.2 lbs, 22" frame weighed 7.6 lbs on my scale today.

I'm building up one for me and the wife, my guess is they will come in around 27lbs complete with a xx/xo/xt/revelation/reverb mix build

the stock build in an 18" is 30.2 lbs w/o pedals on my scale.

So as always I ended putting more trail stuff on mine, and kept my wife's light.

I ended up with XX drivetrain, X0 crank (so I can run a 22), XT brakes (awesome), Reverb post, alloy bar and stem My wheels are white Arches, with DT comp spokes and DT 350 hubs. It's a size 22 and comes in at 30.0 with pedals. It's basically fully complete except for a 35.0 bar stem coming from Easton that's on back order for a month.

My wife's is XX drivetrain, X0 Crank, XX brakes, alloy stem/carbon bar, white crest rims, DT Revolution spokes, DT 350 hubs, Reverb post, white terry saddle, time pedals. It's a 18" and with pedals is 28.0 lbs.

I have my fork set at 140mm travel, but I think I might adjust it down to 130 like the stock bike.

I'll post pics soon, there are a few threads that are waiting on them.

But the real scoop, is the bike freakin rips. d*mn it rips. so much fun up and down. never ridden anything like it. Love the bike.
