That's not a production model, so pay no attention to the color (which is actually quite diffferent from the Bianchi Celeste, though that's pretty cool too) or the name.

    Cheers,
    Joe.

    Will it be disc only?

    Yo Joe,

Do you know if the production model will be disc only? Am I really the last person who likes V brakes?

    Probably not decided yet.

    Yes

    Fat tires = discs

    Skinny tires = cantilevers

V brakes: I would rather not

Guess what Shiggy's next bike is going to be? It's gotta be some kind of green doesn't it
A bike by any other name is still a bike.

My next bike was just welded last night at the Vulture's Nest. Planned paint does not include green. Current Kona Team colors come to mind.

My frame has plenty of clearance for a Big Apple 700x60 and full fenders.

Be nice if they tagged a derailleur hanger on there so those of us who like gears have the option!

Also, will it use a sliding drop out with the disc tabs attached to the drop out?
    MTBR is serious stuff.

They look liek the sliding drop outs on the current explosif/unit. Maybe you could get a driveside sliding drop from an explosif and put it on that to make it dereailleur friendly. Then you have to figure out what to do with the cables, zip ties would work I guess.

Too bad they are running Rebas though...bleh

What is so wrong with the Reba 29er? Stiff, works well, not super heavy..

Good things come to those who wait. I've been patient, and I think it's going to pay off!

    Plans, yes.
