    Raijin owners: help!

I've got my new Raijin frame winging its way to me.

I just have a couple of questions on the bottom bracket arrangement.
    I think it's a BB30 system.

Does anyone know if bb30 is the same as pf30 with regard to the frame?

I have a shimano ht2 chain set at the moment but I can't see a way of fitting this without using a spacer or adaptor system.
This bike will be my bikepacking bike so I wouldn't really want to have a special system where any replacements would be hard to source.

If t turns out the best bet is a new cano that's fine but would like to know what others are using.

    Cheers

Hang on! I might have cracked it..

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

The frame is specific to bb30 so I must fit a bb30 bottom bracket.

For cranks I can fit bb30 cranks or pf30 cranks directly or ht2 cranks with an adaptor.

Other options are an adapted bottom bracket such as kcnc?

    The frame is PF30.

To run an HT2 crank you have a couple of options:

    1) PF30 BB (Sram/FSA/Wheels Manufacturing/Soon to be Chris King) + 24mm reducers (Wheels Manufacturing makes a good set that are cheap.

    2) RaceFace PF30 -> 24mm Bottom Bracket.

A couple of years ago I would have been shocked to see myself recommending a RaceFace bottom bracket; however, I had a year (around 150 rides) in the PNW on my Raijin single-speed before the BB started to get sticky at all, which is more then acceptable to me.

I would highly recommend the RaceFace offering. If you do not have access to a quality headset press, I would recommend having your prefered local bike shop press it in for you though.

*edit: 3) You can also thread an HT2 BB into the plastic PF30 adaptors that SRAM sells, but this system sucks. You heard me Specialized Demo.
