Max rear tire size on Mokomoko?

    Hey,

I've searched all over and can't find anything about this one.. I have a Kona Mokomoko frame that currently has a 2.1 fire xc on the rear. There doesn't seem to be room for much more tire, just wondering if anyone has run a bigger tire on this frame?

    TIA.

Really? Ok, it's an older frame - the precurser to the Kikapu frame, about a 2001 frame.

From a google image search, since I don't have a good pic of my bike right here:

Judging by the rim brakes you aren't going to have much room to toy with. How thick were you planning on and why?

The frame has disc mounts and I'm switching to discs this winter. I'd like to run a 2.3 in the rear for the extra traction, but I don't think there's room. Just wondering if anyone else had any experience, doesn't sound like it.

I you go for disk brake the it should be fine... mesure the distance between the rockers... that should help.

Here's my old one, I think I had a fire xc on it too.
