Matt Slaven's Kona, some new model coming?

Just spotted Matt on nice new video. He's clearly riding Kona bike there, but I can't recognise the model. I assume that's something new coming, maybe 650b? Anyone knows anything about it?

That is one crazy looking bike, not good or bad, just weird. Nice to see Kona trying some new things/ designs.

Just glad they didnt use a current format, like what they did with the Coiler/air and funk it all up. Glad to see it back as the new Process and back with a vengeance.

I hope there's something out there. If this is like a 650 Process, I am very interested. I mean, either way, I'm interested.

Heard a rumor that three models of Process coming, and all will be 27.5. One should be carbon frame and two scandium aluminium models.

Well, I believe it so much that I put my current bike on sale =)
Rumour also tells that these beauties might be available earlier than Kona's releases have been in the past couple of years, possibly available already in end of July.

I'm just speculating, since 2013 sported full X0 drivetrain, whether one of the 2014 models will have the new X01 drivetrain? That would be awesome! At least when looking those photos of Matt's bike, and rumours I've heard I do expect that new RS Pike fork will be on one of the models.

Looks like you're right. 3 process models, 2 650 and 1 29er. 111mm, 134mm, and 153mm. The process 153 looks like my next bike, unless I see a deal on the 2013 model. 2014 Kona Process splits to three models

Kona understands that you can have a wishbone linkage and have it still be non-proprietary, unlike specialized.

Kona has really stepped it up in the last few years. Impressive!

I'm keen to see what specs those bikes will have. I assume 153 will also be my next bike. Also wonder if 134 would be enough on 27.5 wheels.

Ditto. I hope the geometry is the same as this year's process. That's what attracted me to it in the first place. As long as that is on, I'm all over this bike.

Boom! That is awesome looking. I sorta wish they were going to offer at least one 26" version, though...I have a lot of 26" tires and wheels that I rotate into use.

I like the look, reminds me of my first mini, a DB with 1 1/8's. probably not too far off from the same scale in geo as that DB when I was 8 to me as a 6' kid now!

Oh, look so good! So much looking forward to that 153. It's looks like perfect update from 2013 Process. Kona doing amazing work there. I just rode 2013 Process for a week in Åre bike park and did Enduro race there. Bike never missed a beat and survived 3 serious crashes without a scratch. It seems to me that already 2013 model is so confidence inspiring that I keep pushing my speed up until I exceed my limits. Didn't hurt myself either, just need a new helmet.
