    SWEET!!! Are you riding it OEM or have you up graded anything? My brother was thinkin of buying a 5-0 but he was afraid that the OEM parts wouldn't hold up. BTW welcome to mtbr and KONA!!!!!!!!!!

    Yea, it's completly stock, but I'm still too much of a pansi to hit the big stuff. It feels strong though, and if your brother is smooth it would probobly be fine.

    Triple Crown trail on Burke Mtn BC, on my 06 Coiler... I have had many FS bikes, this one decends the best thus far... climbing though it isn't the greatest, my Rocky switch was a better climber but this one is a much more controlled ride down by far.

    The fork is a DHF8.5-MT
    and the shock is a DHS w/hi-low adjusters..
    The DHS shock replaced my Fox DHX5 and I can honestly
    say the Fox DHX5 is not even in the same league as the Avalanche..not
    even close...I'm talking night and day difference..
    really, it's incredible on the small stuff and even more incredible on the big hits..
    soooooo plush ...
