Kona Process bikes 2015 - rumours

There is some spy shots in that carbon Process thread, I suppose that it's already old rumour that there is going to be 134in carbon. Besides that I also heard that 111 will be offered in carbon, and that there is suppose to be one more model with more suspension, something like 167. I assume that Sram X1 will be the main choice for drivetrains. Anyone else heard/seen anything?

I heard they were hurrying to get the 15's out due to demand and lack of 14's to sell. I was told they were shooting for June to announce them but that could be delayed if they had trouble getting a certain part.

Also heard the colors would be about the same with only new graphics.

Was told this a couple of months ago, so I don't know how much has changed.

    167 is SEXY.

I bet the carbon stuff drops at Interbike. Crossing my fingers for a 111c

The 134 SE is nice. Is that a Revelation or a Pike?

And this was the last sentence of the Bike Rumor article announcing the Process and Precept :

"Stay tuned to Kona next week for the full 2015 product announcement."

I'm just waiting for the Process 111 geo. If they finally came to their senses with a sensible seat tube length on the XL. If not, Banshee Phantom for me next year.

That's a Revelation on the 134. That's kind of disappointing.

I thought so and agree that it's disappointing. After testing a number of bikes with the Pike, I wouldn't have it any other way. That being said, maybe Kona is saving the Pike for the carbon model(s).

Soon no rumours anymore, I suppose everyone spotted the countdown timer at the Konaworld website. They will unveil 2015 lineup on monday 21st.

Bikes are up. What do we think?

Purple Rain edition of the Process 111 is handsome. And it's got a Pike this year. No Process Carbon anything... yet! Interbike?

That Purple 111 is a front-runner for me next year. Looks so clean and hot in the purple with silver accents. Glad I didn't' jump on it this year for green or the red (which were both a meh for me aesthetically). Still kinda bummed about no change to the XL 18.3" seat tube length. I will have to carefully measure if it will work for me. Nice addition to the build spec for only $400 more, now including a Pike 120mm fork and X01 drivetrain. It's a solid build for the price, not much I would change, and hopefully it's still available as a frameset as well.

Interesting is that the Explosif 27.5 is now back to Reynolds tubing and has a plug for a stealth dropper. I wish the new Honzo would have been the same.

Also, bye-bye Satori- but I'm not surprised.

Which leaves a void in the 29er Trail category, everything else 29er is XC from what I quickly have browsed. Or the rowdy AM Process 111. I think the Satori peaked in 2012 when it was first introduced. Haven't seen too many 2013s, let alone a single 2014, even in the classifieds or eBay.

Isn't the word that the 134s and 153s are mostly sold out everywhere?

Love the new 111! Dream bike for sure.
The 134 SE is also very cool.
    Anyone know MSRPs?
Better to have and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

MSRP's are on the website. I like that they kept the lineup and builds identical to last year. Proof that they nailed it with these bikes. If my girlfriend sees they are making a woman's specific 134 I'm going to have a 5010 small to move.
