    kona honzo seatpost diameter

    Hey,

Just ordering a bunch of parts for a honzo build. Can't seem to find what size seatpost it takes. What size seatpost does it take?

    Thanks in advance.

dumb question most likely, but would a 34.9mm clamp work? I find my seatpost slides down (but not to either side) while riding. anyone else experience this?

Sure would. It basically the same size as the 35mm clamp, depends on manufacturer and what they decide to label it.

Is yours slipping with the stock clamp? What brand of seatpost?

yeah my seat post has been sliding down, wiped off some of the grease on the post so hopefully that will work otherwise, I will be looking at getting an allen key clamp so that I can tighten it some more rather than the quick release.

Yeah, mine seems to slide down. I'm running everything stock right now, so both the clamp and seatpost are Kona's in-house model.

I had the same problem with the stock Kona clamp. Instead of trying other remedies like toothpaste, carbogrip, etc. I just swapped it out with a Thomson. All has been well since then, with both a Thomson seatpost, and now a KS Lev.
