    Kona customer support quality?

    Simple question, I'd appreciate hearing responses from other Kona owners to this issue.

    Here's the scenario: I want to paint my Kona frame. The warranty says the frame needs to be painted at an authorized Kona paint shop. I've asked the local Kona dealership repeatedly where the authorized painter is in this city - no reply and it's been months now. I emailed several Kona addresses weeks ago - no replies at all. Why is their customer support this bad? All I want is an address of an authorized painter, it shouldn't be that difficult to find out.

    As a comparison, take this. My other bike is a Santa Cruz. Whenever I got something to ask them, they usually get back to my emails in a day or two. It's never taken more than 4 days for them to reply no matter how trivial the question is.

    Is this what you get when you pay less for your frames and bikes?

    joe & team responded swiftly by next day for sizing issues when i was purchasing new wheelsets.
