Detailed specs for Hei Hei 29?

Does anyone know where to get detailed frame specs for a 2011 Kona Hei Hei 29?

I need know the rear shock eye to eye measurement, bolt size, and the width where the rear shock mounts to the frame, getting a new Rock Shox Monarch RT3 and need to know what hardware to get.

Bottom Bracket type... I know I need a 73mm but is there a certain type that is recomended... GXP?

Front Derailleur: What type goes on this frame... looks like top pull, but what mount is it?

Sorry if these questions are dense... it's my first frame build and I don't want to make any mistakes. Thanks.

    This is all I can find. Pics help in ID'ing certain components as well;

Yeah... I've been resorting to that... but you'd think I should be able to find a spec sheet or something. I contacted Kona but waiting to hear back yet... just wanted to order the shock today. I'm also transferring some of the parts off my `11 X-Cal and trying to figure out what I can use. I have a top pull FD but not sure what the mount is on the Hei Hei.

    Here is what I know...........

    Shock Stroke 1.75" or 44mm
Eye To Eye 7.25 or 184mm
Front Derailleur is bolt on top swing top pull.
BB is 73mm and just match up BB with Crankset. It does not have to match but might as well. BB's come with one or two spacers and using 2 spacers makes it a 68mm BB or one Spacer will make it a 73mm BB. Good luck with the build and the bike is fun to ride. Cheers

Small chance you might be able to buy one off eBay. I tried to get the frame only from my LBS (that I race for) and there was no way. Maybe if you get a sponsorship from Kona? Good luck finding the frame-only.

FWIW, I got an XT rear hub and cassette with my 2012 Hei Hei 29 base model. My 19" weighs about 32 lbs with all the stock equipment. I didn't strip it down and weigh anything separately. I will do that over time as I replace individual parts.

I ended up getting really lucky and finding one on eBay from "The Pros Closet", they sell a lot of team leftovers. I got a 2011 team frame with the chrome orange paint job and all the frame features of the 2012 Hei Hei 29. They had two that were never built up in a 19" which fits me like a glove. Just got done with the build last month:

Rock Shox SID XX 100mm fork, 15mm thru axle & hydraulic lockout, tapered steerer
    Loaded ceramic bearing ano headset
    Truvativ world cup handlebars
Velocity Blunt SL rim laced to Hope Pro 2 ano hub
WTB Bronson 2.2 tubeless tire (front)
Hayes Stroker Trail hydro brakes, 203/185 rotors
Fox RP2 high volume rear shock - 4" travel
    SRAM 2x10 24-38t drivetrain
    X7 front & rear derailleurs
    Spank Spike platforms
    WTB Rocket V saddle
    ESI Racers Edge grips

Came in at 29.1 Lbs with pedals. I have a lighter rear wheel on the way

Kinda shocked with that weight. I was expecting around 26 lbs max. 29 lbs seems heavy for an aluminum frame, people are getting similar weights with the much burlier Kona Honzo.

The rear wheel is pretty heavy. I don't have super high end lightweight components on it yet, other than the SID fork. The frame itself was 4.9 lbs so that is pretty light. It's still light compared to a lot of my other previous FS bikes, and for a 29er FS. It was weighed with the pedals and everything on, I've also added a 180 Ashima rotor on the front since it was weighed... that 203 rotor was HEAVY. I could easily get it to under 28 with some lighter stuff... but I'd rather it be able to hold up to my 220 lbs also : )
