    Bushes for 2005 Kona Dawg

    Hi All,
    I'm looking to replace the plastic/nylon bushes on my 2005 Dawg,the only ones I can find are here;

    http://www.mountainbikecomponents.co.uk/items.asp?CategoryID=177&Name=Kona+Bush+kit's

    But at almost 90 thats more than I paid for the frame!

    I'm on a budget so does anybody know of a cheaper alternative,or even a bush supplier that sells small quantities?

    Plastic Bushes?

    When you say plastic bushes, exactly what ones do you mean? The ones in the chain stay?
    All the other pivots have bearings.

    Yeah,I have larger ones at the pivot point just above the BB,but there are also smaller ones( black flanged ones ) on the chain stay where it meets the seat stay and also on the rocker arm where it meets the seat stay(think these ones were changed to bearings on the 2007 model)

    I had the same problem with my King Kikapu frame. PUSH, the suspension upgrade people, sell bushings for Turner frames. I wrote and asked them back in the day if they had any Kona parts but I got no response. When I called Kona, they said you had to buy the whole kit, which you know. So in the end I sucked it up and bought the whole rear kit, about 98% of which I have yet to use.

    Bushing Kits

    GrantB is right in order to get the bushings for the front half of the frame you need to buy the complete pivot kit. They have gotten to be quite a bit of money over the last 6 years or so.
    If you just want the bushings in the chainstay, you can order a Chainstay bushing kit from Kona. It is much cheaper and has only the parts for the chainstay and seatstay junction.
