Brand New 2012 Kona Mahuna @ shop. Any haggle room?
My local bike shop has a brand new 2012 Mahuna for sale. I guess its a 2012 because its green.
Why do they still have a 2012 bike, and theyre asking i believer 799 for it.
Why is the 2012 mahuna on konas site for 739. , when the 2013 sells for 699?
Why would the previous year sell for higher than the newest year?
Can someone please help me ?
Should i just tell the shop to order me a 2014 Mahuna, or buy the 2012?
Maybe the older bike was a better specification due to model changes? Just take a look at the spec of the 2012 and see if it is worth buying over the 2014.
The frame will probably be the same, but have a look to see what fork, drivetrain, brakes etc are fitted.
You could also just ask the shop why the older bike is more expensive?
