    2015 precept dl

Built one up for a customer yesterday. Rode it around a bit. Couldn't believe how well it handled. For under 2k, tough to beat.

Honestly felt more fun than the process 134.

I like testing "average" bikes. I did about 10 miles on one on two different rides...Highly capable bike and probably one of the best deals out there. Disagree that its more fun than the 134 but I can see your point. Climbs well and goes down like a beast. Only nit pick would be the rear derailleur, I'm so used to clutch style that the chain slap noise bugged me...No biggie though just wrap that chainstay and giver!
Also a worthy bike for those who want a bomber frame to upgrade over the years.
I am slightly biased towards Kona though as I believe they make easily serviceable FS bikes and back them up with a great warranty, at least up north eh!
Don't forget the base model is a different travel bike and not quite the same. DL all the way for that platform.

the 134 just felt more dh and less dh/uphill than the precept. precept climbed better, imo. i'd never want a dropper post so i liked the regular post as well.

i'd buy one. if only i didn't like fatbikes so much.....

Ya I get that. Seated climbing was super efficient. Lighten up the Precept a bit with lighter wheels / tubeless and it would way way out climb the the 134...Unless you want to argue, then you are stupid and I am right...hey this is the internet after all. (porn, cat videos and arguing with strangers)
