2012 Honzo frame - seeking one!

I'm looking at building up a Honzo 29er as a SS. Looks like they made a slight change to the 2013 frame with some bracing and a slightly sloped top tube. I prefer the 2012 color and cleaner lines without the bracing and was curious if anyone knows of a 2012 frame only, large, for sale.

I've looked online and have found only complete bikes for sale.

You're right. I just clicked the main page and saw they were still advertising them. I didn't click to try to buy. They should take the link off their site unless they are getting more in stock. Good luck in your search.

Try The Path Bike Shop. I know they had a 20" frame in stock as of last month, last one they tore down from a complete bike.

Neil wasn't there. I spoke to a young woman who said they didn't have a 2012 20' Honzo frame. I really don't want the 2013 frame, but unless I can find someone selling a used 20" 2012 I'm probably out of luck, and I'm not buying a complete bike since I'd replace all the parts anyways.

And they do pop up on eBay once in a while. This 20" Large just sold last week, missed it by a few days lol, owned by a Kona employee nonetheless who partially designed the frame, I chatted with him.

I did find a shop with a brand new 2012 Honzo complete size 20L (XL) for $1200, if that helps anyone still looking. Zen Bikes Chelsea New York

I gave up on the 2012 search so I just picked up a 2013 complete Honzo from a member here in the classifieds. I'll live with the color, and the parts upgrades are nice over the 2012. I can't wait to get it and get some riding in! Should be a great replacement for my Unit.
