2002 Kona Bear with a 130mm travel fork?

Hello all I have a 2002 Kona bear and I am looking to swap out the front fork soon. My friend has a 130mm of travel shock he would sell me for dirt cheap and it would also be a worth upgrade to my bike. My only problem is I am not sure if going from 100 to 130 will cause any issues with my frame. I know it will change the height of the BB but will 30mm of travel make it ride harsh on climbing and sharp cornering?

The bike is just about brand new, I had gotten a frame replacement and new rear shock and everything on the bike is new or well taken care of but the front shock needs to go. I built this bike for someone who has no intention on using it anymore and if they are not I sure as heck will! But I need a uncut fork and my friend has one in his parts bin!

I put a 130 RS Rev on my Bear, thought it would jack up the geometry, if anything it's better. The stock Marz fork is junk compared to the Rev.

    Do it.
