I was wondering if anyone out there has some experience with when the bushing/bearings of the rear triangle should be replaced? I am a 140lb cross-country rider. About a year ago I purchased my Kikapu on ebay. I am not sure how many miles it already had. Lately I have noticed a bit of rear triangle flex during steep, fast downhills. It is a little scary to say the least. What can I do at home to determine if the bearings need replacing? Do I need to buy OEM bearings, anyone with knowledge on where you can buy precision bearings at wholesale prices?
Thanks for any input.
