    2000 Kona Stinky Dee-Lux

    Hey stinky riders,

    I want to replace my rear shock, I have the vanilla rc coil shock right now.. I want to replace it with something new.. any ideas? suggestions? thanks.

    2000 Stinky D was 5" of rear travel? You just want something new? I really like my DHX Air 5.0 for air and also like Stinky's with the Rocos on them.

    I can't remember exactly the layout of the links vs the frame tubes, but be careful of the piggyback size when putting a shock on.

    heres a picture of the linkage, help me out here folks.. and if you suggest a rear shock, can you guys help me out by finding a good link to that shock..

    Haha, yeah I thought so. I've ridden a bike with an air rear shock, and it feels limited... coil feels like it has unlimited travel.

    yep, I second the dhx coil. I rode both my bikes(cowan DS/Stinky) a few weeks ago in keystone and the coil on the stinky felt so much better on all the rough stuff.
