    15" or 17" Dawg?

Im 5' 7.5" with a 30.5" inseam and looking to get an 04 Dawg frame. Would you suggest the 15" or the 17"? Only difference I see is the length in toptube and of course standover height.

    15" has 22" toptube and a 32" standover

    17" has 23" toptube and a 32.6" standover

I'm 5' 7" on a good day and I got the 17". I like a little larger frame though, a bit more room in the cockpit. I might have bought a 16 if they made one but I think a 15 would be a bit on the small side. The LBS owner I got mine from is my same height and he rides a 17" Bear. Same as a Dawg, just the previously used name. If you can, test ride them both.

2004 Dawg 15's only measure 14 inches to the top of the seattube! I couldn't get full leg extension even with a 400mm seatpost, which looked pretty damn weak stuck out that far,and my inseam is about the same as yours.I'd get the 17 and put on a shorter stem to get comfy.

I have been told that 2005's have corrected that problem, but I'd want to see someone actually measure theirs.
