    warden with a 150mm fork?

Would this length fork be lame on the warden?

I have a pike 150mm fork I could put on a frame I am looking at. I would sell it for a bigger fork but nobody wants to buy it.

in the low/slack geo setting it seems like it would work for general / moderate all around riding.

It is an easy change on the pike to make it 160mm. Just need a new air shaft ~ $40

I think the Warden feels best with a 160mm fork in the steep setting.

I've often wondered about this, would a 150mm fork in slack mode kinda be like an in-between the usual slack/steep? ~66* HA, ever so slightly lower bb. Hell, try it and see, as someone said the airshaft to bump it up to 160mm doesn't cost much...

I have an MRP Stage set at 160 mm on my Warden. The A2C is roughly 10 mm less than other forks with the same travel, so, from a geometry standpoint, it's like a 150 mm fork. I'm set in slack mode, which, as David pointed out, puts the HA around 66* and the BB height a bit lower than the "standard" slack geometry. I like this setup but I haven't tried it with the fork at 170 mm so I can't help with any comparisons. It seems like a good middle ground for my local trails, which aren't too steep and scary.
