    Dear all,

    I may also go this way. Can someone explain what will be the real difference (I mean riding difference) between :

    1. Woodie
    2. DHX with Ava
    3. Van with Ava

    Thanks...

    From experience, the only person on here who can explain that properly to you is the man himself, phone Craig Seekins at Avalanche Downhill Racing.

    I dont know if the OP got his hands on an AVY candidate rear shock but here's one on PB fully decked out. I have no affiliation with this person BTW, but its a good deal for a chili owner.

    Alright, so I got what I needed (aka that Avy tuned Fox on pinkbike). It was tuned for a 200lb rider and i'm about 190lb with my gear on so it should be sweet!

    What I need answered is the shock needs DU bushing, which ones to get? Also I think i'm going to need shock hardware because I don't think my DB Air hardware will work, is this true?

    DB Air hardware MIGHT work. I'd recommend the new Fox 5 piece polymer hardware though, really liking it so far on my 3 bikes. I'd go that way, and the each kit has the polymer bushing and hardware included.

    Yes, you'll need to order them directly from Fox though I think. Does your Chili have flat rockers or the newer 3d ones?

    Just the regular flat rockers. I saw they have the 5 piece bushings on JensenUSA, I just need to know I have the right hardware lengths.

    Ok, you need the 21.8 M6 on the bottom, and 41.2 M6 on the top. Fox told me their part numbers were as follows:

    803-03-160 --> 41.15 M6
    803-03-143 --> 21.84 M6

    Hope that helps.

    Yup, helluva deal.

    Nice to know Jenson carries that new bushing hardware too, nice find. For the longest time you could only get them directly from Fox.

    @rscecil007 Thanks for the measurements, ordered them already. Cost about ~$25 shipped for both

    @mrniceguy42 Thanks! I'm pretty stoked! Never had Ti spring before so it should be interesting. Has anyone tested an Avy shock with and without the reservoir, does it make a large difference in feel?

    I actually found ProBikeSupply carries them too. $4 cheaper than Jensen and Jensen said it usually ships in 1-2 weeks whereas I think they're in stock at PBS. Fox Rear Shock 5-Piece 6mm Mounting Hardware Kits - Pro Bike Supply
