Protecting 'Raw' Knolly frames from the elements

Do we need to? When i got the bike home the other day it was quite muddy 'all over'

Ive got helitape on areas vulnerable to rubbing and was going to get the padded 3M tape for the bottom of the downtube to protect from rock damage.

I know alu frames dont rust as such, but engrained dirt/oil can make the bike look a bit rough and ill treated.

Is there anything (a spray?) i could use on the exposed areas of the frame?

    P.S. dont say paint.

There are no 'exposed' areas, Al oxidizes almost instantly. Mine is totally fine after years of doing nothing in this regard.

we always use the pedros bike lust. this makes the bike look new. in whistler last year all the other guest kept asking me if my dt and bos ndee fork were new as they were so shiney. no one believed me when i said the frames a 09 and the fork is 2010. then i showed them the bike lust, spray on wipe off and there you go, nice shiney looking frame.
ok my dt is anno black, and my other frames have all been painted. but cols ns soda is raw and it seems to work ok on that.
