    Podium Dayglow yellow colours

This is kind of a ridiculous question...

I finally received my dayglow yellow podium frame.
i still have to buy wheels and a fork. I dont know what color hubs i should buy; I was thinking of Red hubs with black rims. This is because my Derailler is red and my handlebar is black and red.

Do you think this will go well with the dayglow yellow frame?
The fork will be black or white, I still dont know.

    Thanks,

i'm building a yellow endo and i've got more red than blue accents

red: pedals, headset, seatpost QR, grip locks, chainstay protector
    blue: hubs

i only have the headset, seatpost and chainstay protector on, as well as the hubs...i like the look so far...i was thinking of having blue only in the extremities, like hubs, pedals, and grips, but i've already bought all the parts, so too late for that

black fork and rims/nipples/spokes..i removed all the stan's stickers from the rims...was thinking of doing the same on the fox fork, but if anything, they'll protect them from scratches

Are you down with I9's? If so, you could do RED HUBS with WHITE WHEELS and WHITE FORK. I think that would be rockin'!

I dont have money for I9s... I'm just going to get a Superstar components custom wheels. With their Trizoid hub and EX729 rims.

Perfect! You can go with Superstars "DH-595 Rim 32 Hole" rims in WHITE and get their Trizoid hubs in RED. BEAUTY! The Trizoid looks really nice.

Those exclamation points lead me to believe that you may not have been too sick for trail work last night.

Very likely not...The 729's get very good reviews and are very wide for wide tires. I was going purely on color scheme. However, if you got the Mavics and did the Yellow frame with Black and Red accents that would be cool too.

hey fred, here are pics of what i got right now..taken with a camera phone, so ugly pics...all i have left to do is install brakes and buy a seat and grips

now that i just installed the cables, i do think i should have gone with a little more blue...may change out the red lizardskin to black, but now i'm just being picky guess that goes with the territory when you build your own bike

I think red would be the way to go.. Not sure about the black or white rims and fork. I like the looks of black and red.

I think ill stick with the ex729s id rather have performance and stiffness over colour...

    Thanks!

Here's my neon yellow Chili bike built with red bits. I' like the contrast and would have easily gone with blue had my blue hub wheels been adaptable to 142 x 12.
