Not cool. The Wide Bar Mafia will have a horse's head in your bed by tomorrow night.

How wide are they? The Analog bars that came on my Chilcotin (last year's model I assume) were only 720mm. I wouldn't mind if it were another 20mm on each end but I don't need 800mm bars.

The Analog DH carbon are 800mm...I run 730 on the endo, 740 on the chili, im guessing 760 would be perfect for the podium as im running 50mm stems on all three bikes (which are all Mediums).... have seen some carbon bars with instructions not to cut them...

One look at the calibrated lines on each end and they screamed "cut me!" I cut 25mm off each end of mine and my pinkies are quite happy about it. I'm not planning on going up to Sedona for the Knollfest, but if anyone is thinking they are going to ride Hangover with 800s, post up so I can change my plans

I chopped my carbon ENVE a couple of months ago. 800mm might be reasonable for someone routinely traveling over 35mph on wide, unobstructed trails. For the rest of us, 800mm is just too wide. I'm glad I chopped them.
