knolly owners in the western wa area

i'm a non-knolly owner thinking about joining flanks, but i want to throw my leg over one before pulling the trigger. i think i've read through every this vs that thread on mtbr, and i still have a ton of questions. anyone in the western washington region with a medium chili or endo they wouldn't mind letting a complete stranger take a few turns on, this coming weekend?

i would totally take you up on that offer if i wasn't stuck to staying around seattle due to work, for the next month. i'm hoping to make it up to whistler later this summer, though.

I only have Larges and XLs. Someone will be able to hook you up though.

Saw a silver RAV full of Podiums and Chilis the other day on I-5. Nice to see so many sightings in the area.

I have a burly large (not finished with the M enduro build) that I may be persuaded to let you take a spin on at Duthie for a six pack of cold brew...

I'm in Bellingham and have a small and medium Chilcotin in our house.

Lemme know if you are coming up this way and you could sample the medium on Galby.

i'll def let you know, ebxtreme! also, thanks for the offer bionicman, but would a size L be too large for me? i'm 5'9 with a 31" inseam and normal proportions.

i like how the washington knolly riders are coming out of the woodwork, now. in my 12 years of riding, i have never seen a knolly on the trail. you guys are illusive, like sasquatch.

True dat....Muttonchops is like a bull in a china shop on a bike!

Kidding of course, but I'd wager there are few that ride this bike harder than Dave.

sorry to hear that Mutton, how bad is the injury. I dislocated my shoulder last week and swore off biking for a month! Missed the BME race and everything.

Eiash...sorry bru. yours sounds worse than mine. I broke my baby finger by just tagging a tree. It was in a fast techy steep section and i didnt even crash..felt the bars get wrenched....kept riding and realized i couldnt really hold on to the bar properly. stopped and took a look and the ol pinky was off at 45 degrees with a funky wiggle. It got hit so hard it was numb. Zero pain. 6 - 8 weeks. 2 weeks in. rehab starts on monday if all is well.

Wow, mine was the opposite haha. Slow techy climb, lost my momentum and slowly tipped over. Elbow hit the ground and boom, anterior dislocation. Lots of pain.

    Good luck with the recovery!

do you need a tool for installing a headset or removing?

for a headset press, i've always gone this route: Homemade Headset Installation Tools | Bike Commuters
