How long before a Carbon Warden comes out?

Realistically, how long do you think it will be before a Carbon Warden comes out?

    1 year? Spring 2015?

I think realistically never. I think the the Warden at 150 mm rear travel is a good intro to the 650b thing. It allows the next bikes to be spaced so everyone isn't as concerned about overlap. I would guess that if Noel releases a carbon bike it will not be a version of any current frames in the line up. Who wants to order an aluminium version only to have a carbon version come out six months later. I think more likely, if there is a carbon bike that it will be a 125mm frame and then we will see a 170mm beast.

What about: 135mm carbon 650b frame designed around 140-150mm forks which could chew the rough stuff ..that would be an 'Endo ender'...

I just cant see how you fit another bike inbetween - unless theres a change up of the whole line ...

130mm 650b carbon bike (replace endo)
    150mm 650b Warden
160-170mm 650b carbon bike (replace chili)

    ...only time will tell.

What im interested in is not so much the specifics of the bikes (Noel will make great bikes) but the timeline...especially on the Endo ender...ill guess 2 years. I'll be keeping the Chili and Podium for at least 3-4 years I think.

Carbon might be offered as an option rather than replace an aluminium bike? Kona and SC are doing this for example with their line up.

this make sense for a large manufacturer, but for Knolly?

I think pfarrel has it right. From my conversations with Noel and some of the guys who work for Knolly I got the impression that they are working on a carbon bike, it won't appear before 2015 (perhaps a prototype at Eurobike next fall?) and it will be something in the short travel category. Everyone was pretty tight lipped but that's what I gathered from what they did (and didn't) say.

I wouldn't expect a carbon Warden or a long travel Chili/Delirium replacement in carbon either.
