    hammerschmidt on 2013 endorphin

sorry for all the questions i keep asking lol.
will a hammerschmidt crank work on a new 2013 endorphin. i am toying with ideas for a potential build. and am a huge hammerschmidt fan, i have them on most of my other bikes and was wondering if one will work on the endo.
    thanks in advance ian.

It is a 73mm bb shell and has the ISCG05 tabs required, so I would say yes. May want to confirm with a quick call or email to Knolly though.

I have read somewhere that it works nicely on the Chili. I would assume that this holds true for the Endo as well.

I definitely do not see why it wouldn't mount up, but I am not sure why you would want to. A 2x system seems more fitting for the purpose of the Endorphin. I loved my Hammerschmidt, but have since gone to a 1x system. I do miss the clearance but that is all. The extra drag and excessive weight are not missed at all.

yeah thats kind of where i am at now, regarding weight. im wanting to build up a endo, and am aiming for a pretty light build. though i want to do it on a budget as im building up a podium as well. the hammerschmidt has come off my dt, so i was thinking of saving some cash by trasfaring it to the endo.
in a perfect world i would either go raceface next sl. or even better xx1, though im not really into paying 300 quid for a cassette thats gonna wear out as quick as a 40 quid one would.

+1 - the extra drag in the high range meant that I was essentially running a heavy expensive single ring. I ditched it and was much happier.

I think the HS makes sense if you'll only be in the high range coming down and can crank uphill in the low range.
