    Amazing photos!

I live so close and keep thinking about doing a bike trip in the Chilcotins.
I need to stop thinking and start doing!

I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go!

I'll have to put that one on the top of the bucket list.

Should go it's well worth the trip..
It is the best days riding i ever done. We were lucky enough to do a float plane trip the other year..
I was on my santacruz butcher .. would love to do it on the chilli.

    Amazing singletrack out there.

Awesome shots. I saw some Knollys in the Chilcotins, but I kept my eye out for a Chilli and didn't see one. That would have been too perfect...

We've started to plan an 8 passes in 6 days Chilcotin tour for 2014. No time like the wet present to plan a great trip and book a float plane!
    Safe riding,

I had no idea the Chilicotins were so barren and exposed. Great read/view.

They flew in to Lorna Lake which is up above the treeline hence the barren terrain. If you ride at lower elevations you are in the trees and meadows.

Yeah Lorna is like that but a little further south, ie Spruce Lake is fully forested. A trip to the Chilcotins will put you in every kind of terrain. Some parts are really sandy trail, other parts are insane mud.

I recently took my Chilcotin to the Chilcotins too - I think the Endo is probably the better bike for the job but the Chili performs admirably as always!

I am just starting to plan a Chilcotin trip for next summer. Not sure which bike to bring, my Chili or something lighter and more pedal-friendly. Any recommendations from those that have been there?

The Chilcotin is total overkill for the area

Id agree with Lee. Even my DW 5-Spot felt like too much bike for pretty much all of the riding. Particularly that push up to Windy Pass from Spruce Lake!
