Day 2 of our 2 week Canada trip

A bunch of us who ride Knolly bikes left for Canada on July 4th for two plus weeks of riding - woohoo!

Rode Collonade in Seattle. Got to Kelowna Friday night.

Just finished 2 days in Silverstar. Trails are super fun. Never ridden trails with some many fun berms. The berms just let you go super fast.

Head to Sun Peaks tomorrow for the more extreme gnar trails.

    Knolly Podium in action......

Nice! I've always wanted to hit the other resorts besides Whistler. Keep us updated.
(PS: why Collonade and not Duthie?, would have been worth the extra 30 min drive time. Poor Collonade hasn't got much love lately)

You will love Sun Peaks as well. Where Silverstar is fast/berms, Sun Peaks is steep/shale. They really contrast each other nicely.

Also, besides Sun Peaks, there's lots of great riding near Kamloops. I'd try to get a lap or three in on Harper too.

Sun Peaks is also a blast, but completely different. Silverstar is smooth, not quite as steep, and less technical, owing the smoothness it is fast.

Sun Peaks is steep and technical. I also like the jumps as Sun Peaks better than Silverstar.

Like any first time at a new park, you start on the intermediate trails for warm up and get a feel for things. The blue trails were steep and we were like the blacks and reds are going to be nasty. However, though more technical and a bit crazy at times, we prefer the blacks and particularly the red trails.

It is amazing how few people are riding these trails. The were almost no wait times for the lifts.

One more day at Sun Peaks. We head to Kamloops tomorrow - we are not sure what we are going to do there.

We then pick up Dom and head Whistler for a few days, then to Squamish/Pemberton, back to Whistler, then home to California.

    Cheers,
    Jamie
