Chilcotin and intense ss 1st world dilema

I'm extremely happy with the chilcotin however it does not go downhill as well as my intense ss with a 180mm talas up front. If it could then I will never have a need for another bike again.

Now i'm thinking should I put the 180mm on the chilcotin or would this ruin a perfectly good setup currently with the bos 160mm? With the 160mm as you all know it climbs, does single track and goes down well.

Otherwise i'd leave the chilcotin as is and run a 2 bike stable. I ride all mountain, loose and rocky stuff. Most of all I love going downhill which

    So option:
    1. Make a beast out of the chilcotin by placing 180mm up front(i would send fork to avalanche. Worth it?)
    2. Keep a well balanced chilcotin and intense as is(i'd put an avalanche shock on the intense. Current rockshox bobs too much)

Anyway just wondering what you guys think. I know I can try it and see how it goes but it's a bit of a pain to do(with headset, disc brake mounts etc). And i'm sure some of you have good experience with 160 vs 180 on the chilcotin.

I have a 170mm Lyrik with an external headset, which gives me roughly the same head angle as a 180mm with an internal. It is very comfortable going downhill. I run the shock in the steep position usually. Haven't found a need to go slacker yet, even running it on lift assist trails.

180 with ZS on my Chili. I prefer it to the 160 I was running before.

    I have a chili at 160 and had a SS1 at 180. I'd keep both as is.
