New question here. Any opinions on a Chilly and a Vivid Air.

Greetings all. Im thinking about swapping the rear shock (CCDB) on my Chilcotin for something with tool less adjusters. I Try to ride the bike park 3-4 times a month, the rest of the time Im usually riding with a bunch of buddies who only XC. And having to use a tool to change settings is getting to be an annoyance, hence the Vivid air. Anyone with first hand experience? What tune would I need if I decided to swap? Thanks.

I had a vivid air on my chili when I first got it. It was a great shock but I much preferred my avalanche DHX coil. I would personally go monarch plus over vivid air, as you can firm it up for the climbs and it is lighter too. The vivid air wont save THAT much weight.

It would be awesome. I swapped my Double Barrel for a Vivid Air and I'm much happier with it, but mainly because it's easier to get the settings right. I guess you should just take in mind that if you feel like you get the DB dialed in well for both types of riding, you may lose some of that since the Vivid has less tunability.

    Low on Compression.

Either Low or Medium on Rebound depending upon your weight (i.e. L or M will work for most people, unless you're really heavy then you'll need M, or really light, then you'll need L).

Are you using the LL tune on your delirium?
