None of those namby pamby shiny bike in your kitchen shots. I want to see down and dirty and big and hairy (XC shots with epic views are encouraged). The bike porn equivalent of scheisse vids.
You already saw this one...
Then there' s Barb...
Over a hundred days and counting on my Delerium T this summer. It's quite a bike.....
I have everything but the POC shorts. The item I like least is the Knee/Shin. After 6 months use, I finally posted a review on the MTBR review section. I think the helmet is their best product, but there are several good helmets out there (TLD, THE etc). I think the vest, however, is far better than the other vests on the market. The arm/elbow I hated at first since it was so tight, and only came in 1 size. For 2010 they have multiple sizes. It works well now that I have managed to stretch it out a bit. I can still lose blood flow to my hands though, unless I am moving with it on. The knee/shin just moves around too much. Its better with the calf pad off (which sucks, because I liked protecting my achilles). I am searching for something better.
*now back to gnarly pics of Knolly's
Haven't been bringing the camera much on rides lately but did get this one shot on a ride a couple of weeks ago so I thought I'd post it up to keep the action rolling.
This is a fun gap jump my buddy Russell recently built on one of our favorites descents. Can't see the take off or the landing in this pic (Sorry your hard work doesn't show, Russ), but it is a hoot to hit.

Trying to keep the stoke going with the Rains we've had
I was glad to get in a ride before the rain came... for socal 1.5" of rain is a lot, and they're saying we're going to have more on the way. At least that means some of the stuff will be getting bigger now that the dirt is soft enough to dig
We, small group including my wife on her Endo, were out at "Space Mtn" (off the 101 fwy) on Sunday. Thinking of getting out to the Santa Monica's today, Wednesday, after it warms up a bit.

I hear from Joe you've got some great riding up there. I also have a buddy who goes up to Auburn regularly and says there's great riding around there as well. Not sure if you get out that way.
The photographer does some nice work. He visits all the good spots while he's rehabbing a recent injury.

Killer shot Q. Can't believe it...1.5" of rain in San Diego. Seems like I had to move for it to start raining. It'll be good digging for you guys.
LOL. I wish. So maybe this was closer to a month ago? I lose track of time easily.
Short sleeve weather is definitely over for us. It was -7 F when I left the house this morning for my ride. I wore a few more layers than I did in this pic.
It has been a good fall though. Russell and I did our last high country ride just Saturday. It was mid-20s but the trails were dry..... until Monday night. High stuff is officially closed for the season now. :nono:
We got over a foot of snow in Reno the other day, pretty much shuts down the riding for a while, I have no desire to ride when its below freezing. Will spend the winter building the new EG that is on its way to me.
Thanks Salt, sorry for delay. I'm down in San Diego. That's one bike I have on my list one day is the 'endo'. But first up would be the new DT then Podium... then possibly the endo.
Hope you got in a good ride
