Myself on the green monster...it changes character daily based on the weather...total fun in the dry...terrifying (and fun!?) in the wet...the rock is generally ok...its the 90deg out of control right hander 30' down trail that will make you squeal
Come on folks...time to share your winter stoke to get us through the tough months (up in the top half anyway)
Its cold, wet and dark outside and its hard to imagine that this is one of my favorite times of the year for riding. However when the rain/snow stops and the ground is frozen and cold we have some of our best riding conditions of the year here in the PNW.
The cold sucks the moisture out of the ground and its super rewarding to ride any fresh new trail that gets packed in and feels like its been there for years.
Last Friday we had to hike for 30 mins to start the ride.... like this. (The Warden must have weighed about 35lbs at that stage)
