XC 204 Rear Shock Specs? "Help"

I just purchased a used khs xc 204 and wanted to change out my rear shock. The previous owner had a spring rst shock but its a bit stiff. I was looking the get the rock shox bar 2.1 since its relatively cheap on eBay and other sites. If so, can anyone tell me what size shock i need to buy as far as length and width for my specific frame? Also, what mounting hardware do i need to buy as far as spacers and their size and stuff. Thanks...

Not sure if the measurements I am taking are correct but I am getting 6.5" eye to eye in length. 2" top of spring and 1.25 bottom of spring. Feel free to chime in and correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

As a matter of fact I called KSH today and was told my setup is 6.5" w/ 1.5" stroke. Go figure..
