Why no 142x12 on the new 650b's

Seriously why did they not put a 142 x 12 TA on the new 650b FS bikes. These are new frames I do not understand why they would not design a frame with the new technology. QRs should be phased out of all MTBs. I would get a 6500 right now if it had a 142 x 12 TA on the back. Are they modular drop outs? Man this is really has me confused. I want to support my LBS, they are a KHS dealer.

Might have to go with Rocky Mountain Altitude.

No one has an opinion on this, uh? Just want to know if I am in the minority with my thinking.

Ob vious answer may be cost control, not having to use special hubs/wheels on that model, keeping it to where they can get 135 for all their bikes from one supplier.

Personally I don't have an opinion on it as I am fine with the 135 I'm rocking right now.
