I understand but you will NOT find them on ebay. It is not a standard size. I can't check it because I don't have an inside micrometer at my house.

I konw what your saying about the phone call, but in my opinion, it's the only way to order the right parts. All of the online shops I checked didn't have the right size anyhow.

This is what I ordered from FOX
Upper mount width – 22.2 mm
Lower mount width – 36 mm

I bought all the parts and pieces seperatly. Running fox F120 RLC FIT, Fox rp23 Pushed, avid elixir brakes, sram drivetrain, a mix of raceface and truvativ componets, and fort'e xenuro wheels with wtb moto raptor tires. Weights in at just over 27 lbs.

Here is mine. KHS Alite 4000. I build this one myself back in 2003. Bought the frame and a bunch of XT compoents and made my own. Comes in around 23lbs.

I have just gotten back into biking. I had taken a break from it in 2004 after I got married. I just did not have time, but I haved dusted off the old girl and started to ride again. I forgot how much I missed it.

Wow man, great looking bike! You are going to love it! They ride nice man, very agile, climb decent, and just seem to have a fun factor to them! Enjoy

First thing I noticed was the agility and was very happy. I'm not too experienced but the Fuji Outland RC I had previous didn't feel near this good. Felt like I never had control of that bike but this one feels amazing.

Thanks a lot. I didn't want the white wheels at first but I kind of like them now.

Care to share how it rides?
Better to have and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Keeping in mind that it replaced an 8-9 year old Manitou Black, it's friggin sweet! It's my first air fork so I'm still working on tweaking it, but I had very good results on the shakedown run. Firm while the trail is smooth, takes up the little stuff like it's not there, very plush and smooth on bigger hits/drops etc. I have the rebound set not quite half way, so there is no "pogo" to it whatsoever. The lockout is also very effective, and despite it being my first fork with one I quickly became comfortable with reaching down to engage/disengage it.

FWIW, I'm a Clyde (6', 235 if I ask the scale nicely) riding NorthEast US singletrack (rocky, rooty, rutted, rocky....................) and I was very happy with the performance of the Enix, and that includes the lighter weight and improved stiffness over the Black.

I've always had a thing for KHS bikes. Bought a used rigid for about $125 in 1999 or so and it's been my #1 bike ever since though about all that's left stock is the frame, fork, headset, stem and bars.

I bought another used KHS (Montana Team), mostly for the XT components. Bought a very lightly used XT bottom bracket as well and bought a set of XT/Rhyno Lite wheels. Took the bike apart a couple years ago and repainted it using the green component of camo spray paint and built it back up with the XT stuff and the new wheels.

    Absolutely LOVE this bike!

And I had this KHS Flite 700 road bike for a couple years. Got a great deal on it as it had been left outside and had some rusted bolts and whatnot. About $30 and some time and it was nearly like new.
