Well I bought a KHS flagstaff frame for a good price at the Toronto Bike show at the begining of March and
used some old, well not really old but 2012 giant parts off my hardtail since I rebuilt it this winter.
So far with the cost of the bike, new cassette and chain, new SLX brakes and a new stem I have about 800 bucks rapped up in this bike. Cassette is XT, cranks are raceface, giant wheels, KS dropper post, deore shifter, SLX brakes, crank brothers bars, specialized stem and XT rear derailluer. Going 1x9 so I used an old front derailluer and a dremel and made myself a chain guide, works like a charm and it was free. Brakes are coming in this week so I hope to get it out this weekend for its maiden voyage weather permitting, this spring has sucked so far.
