Anyone have a 120mm fork on an XC204?
My Marzocchi on my Xc204 has sprung an oil leak on one leg of the fork; not the seal, but at the seam in the middle of the leg. Since the trails I ride are more AM than XC, I'm looking to up my fork from a 100mm to a 120. I know the rear will still be 100, but I believe that should be OK. Anyone running a 120, or know why I shouldn't?

I ran a 120 on my old XC004. You'll be fine.

I'm running a Tora 318 Soloair @130 on a 2009 XC204. It rides great, I always thought the head angle was too steep with a 100MM. BTW, the rear is 4.2", I believe 106mm, at least on mine.

Probably too late, but my 2011 XC-204 came with a 120mm fork, I swapped it out for another 120mm fork, rear runs 120mm travel (4.7"). Should be sweet anyway.

While we are updating and old thread....I went with a 130mm Manitou Minute. At first the geometry change mad things feel a bit odd, but once I got everything dialed in, I love it! It definitely gives me more confidence on some of the larger obstacles that were bothering me with the 100mm fork.
