Worth of my 04 Jamis Dakar Comp custom build

I purchased a used 04 dakar frame last year and built it up ground up with all new parts. Im planning on selling it soon and want to know what a fair price would be to ask for of a bike with about 350 miles on it with the new parts.

Rock shox tora sl fork 100mm
fox float r 90mm rear shock- rebuilt last week
    Sram x9 shifters
    Sram x7 front der.
Sram x9 rear der. - 1 week old, never ridden on trails yet
    Avid juicy 3 hydraulic brakes 160mm F/R
Truvativ Firex Crankset with Sram cassette
    Raceface stem and handlebars
Bicycle Wheel Warehouse Pure XM wheelset w/ Shimano XT hubs
Specialized Captain Sport Tire R/ Specialized Captain Race Tire F

Everything works great and my LBS always takes good care of my bike and just tore apart my rear wheel hub and rebuilt it to have 0 wobble and true the tires.

I would like $950 for everything since the price a new bike would be with these components would be well over $2000. I would accept $750 at the lowest.
Any input would be helpful in my decision to sell it soon or not.

id say your lowest is at least $300 too high. jamis's dont have any resale value, the frame is 7 years old, and it doesnt have a great spec. id be super happy at $500, but take $350.

Yes unfortunately these bikes don't hold their value really well. I was trying to sell my '06 Dakar XC Pro with '08 full XT components for about $900 and didn't get much interest. So I'm keeping it for now but eventually I'll probably just buy a new frame and swap the components over.

Older mountain bikes just aren't worth that much. Better to ride them than sell them.

id expect to see it listed around 500, and most people would probably lowball it down to 400ish. 04 was a loooong time ago in mt bike years.
