    Where are Jamis bikes made?

I'm mainly curious about the bike I have on order. A Dakota Elite. Do they make their own frames here in the US? I assume some of their lower end bikes do come from overseas...

All Jamis bikes are made overseas...Taiwan I believe. Your bike had a 'Made in Taiwan' sticker at one point. Jamis simply couldn't offer the same value with US labor costs.

all the low end bikes Ranger through to Dakar and Durango are made in China. All the upper end are made in Taiwan by Kinesis, so I am led to believe.

Just say it to yourself: "It REALLY doesn't matter AT ALL."

Say it over and over and over until you REALLY understand.

It is a REAL response. Maybe you can figure it out.

Jamis, just like all the major brands are made over sea's in Taiwan and in China. The factories are chosen very carefully and we have great relationships with the people / factories that build our bikes.

    Thanks!

Well I am really enjoying the bike regardless of where it is made.
