    Minion 2.5 on a Komodo?

Fast question for someone who has already tried:

Would a Maxxis Minion DHR 2.5 2ply Maxxpro would fit in a Jamis Komodo?

I've heard this tires are somewhat like 2.4 real tires, and the only thing I've seen is a Holy Roller 2.4 barely fitting.

I have a 2006 Jamis Komodo 3.0. I believe the 2.5 is going to be too big. I'm running a 2.3 on the rear and there isn't much clearance room left.

Throw some pics up please! I've seen several posts regarding your Komodo...I wanna see it.

Oh well, now I'm convinced, any 2.3 tire or 2.35 Maxxis, being a Holy Roller 2.4 the top. What I got in mind now for rear tire is a High Roller 2.35 2ply Maxxpro from overseas. Maybe both are gonna be High Rollers or... Chunders.

My Komodo is not complete yet, and it will cost me a little more than I expected, but I think it's worth to wait 1 or 2 months more until it's complete. A month ago I got the frame, just recently the wheels, crank, BB, fork and stem. The next things I wanna get are the brakes, tires, headset, saddle and maybe some drivetrain parts. I will leave at the end the bars, tubes, grips, pedals, etc. I think when I have gotten almost everything I'd build it, I promise it will be pics as soon as it's complete!

You should throw up some pics of the build...or at least the frame and the various parts you already have. Put up some pics of the parts just laying around. Then, as you acquire a new part, add another photo. Document the whole build. You know how the people on this site love the bike porn.
