    Jamis XC Chain Problem

    Hey Yall

I recently purchased a Jamis Dakar XC and have been riding it for about three weeks not. Last week I took the chain off and cleaned it up. But since then I have noticed that that Chain seems to slip some how. I'll be pedaling and all of a sudden it will feel as if it wants to change gears. I'm relatively new to the whole MTB thing so any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the input I believe it was the chain after taking it off and inspecting it I had 2 links that were really tight. I loosened those up and hopefully now I'll be good to go.

About the tags, I'm kinda a noob here so I dont really know how things work... figured tags would help if someone was searching if they had a similar problem?
