Jamis Exile v. Jamis Durango 3.0

Hi - I'm trying to decide between two used Jamis - an '04 Exile and an '06 (or '05?) Durango 3.0. They are both $400. It seems many of the specs (see specs below) are the same or similar, major difference is that the Exile has a steel frame v. the Durango's aluminum frame. I'm looking for advice/recommendations on which one would be the superior bike. Thanks! Nancy

FWIW, I would go with the steel any day before the alu. And, just personal preference from experience, I rented an Exile from Cactus Bikes in Phoenix AZ while I was out there on Vacation in 05. Since then I have been dreaming of upgrading my current ride ( a 95 GT aggressor also steel) to a Jamis Exile.....and just recently pulled the trigger on a used frame for $150. probably overpaid, but It's what I wanted, and they seem to be few and far in between. Completely subjective and biased toward the Exile, but anyway I Hope this helps.
    Good luck with your decidin'......
