    Jamis Durango Size!!!

After some research I am finally getting a Durango for my first Mountain Bike. I am about 5.11' and 186 lbs. Which size do you think is better for me. I think I should get a 19. What do you guys advice?

    Thanks

19" should fit fine! I'm also 5'11" (31" inseam) and recently purchased a 19" Durango. Fits great!

Also, go to your LBS, take a ride on a 19" and you'll answer your question.

Thank man. I went to my local bike shop and they only have a 17. I have to wait for the 2012s to arrive or settle for a Trek 3700 disk.

any other LBS in your area? You can check with JAMIS website to locate a dealer in your area (should you choose to go this route). You shouldn't have to wait (your choice) if you don't want to.

    I would definitely say 19". Don't do the 17" I ride the 17" and I'm 5'7", 29" inseam.. fits me like a glove.

Like VAC says, I wouldn't wait. You should get out and ride. Durangos can be found for cheap online.

If they don't have it in stock they should either order it, or understand that they will lose the biz.

I know the LBS relationship starts when you buy your bike.. but I bought both my bike's from ebay... and I spend so much freaking money at my LBS, I think they love me plenty.

(of course my next bike will be from the LBS)

It's $38 dollars more than your LBS. Still pretty cheap.. but if you wait for the 2012 it'll be even more.
