    Had a '97 Team.

I should have paid a hair more for the right size - I'd likely still have it today.

Like the build, looks durable and reasonable in weight too ATC. Built mine up under 24 pounds with an air rear shock, an Amp carbon fork, and a few other lightweight bits.

Only problem I ever had was with the Cane Creek shock - and they took care of it for me quickly.

Hi guys, I realise this thread is pretty old now but hopefully someone will be able to help me out.
I'm interested in getting a MTB and have seen this bike locally.

They are selling it for 150 (about $250). Is that a good price for this bike assuming it is in good working order?

Freakin' hell, talking about grave digging..
OT: That's a newer Dakar, I would try to haggle a bit IMO, fun thing is, I have exactly the same bike OP has, but then in raw and with a 4130 rear end and a longer dog bone.
