New question here. Jamis D clip?

Perhaps this isn't a Jamis specific question but I have notice Jamis continues to use these certain kind of cable clips on their bikes that last few years. I don't even know if they're really called a "D Clip", I'm just guessing because the common ones are called a C clip.

Basically what I need is this here:
    .
    .

    .
    .
    .
I keep losing them to my stupid bike rack.

Anyone know where I can get em?

I can send some to you, PM me your address. They are for ease of assembly at the factory and should be replaced with zip ties.

You'll be happier in the long run if you use a zip tie. The D-clip allows the housing to rub on the aluminum underneath the clip. If you use a zip tie, you'll only rub on the nylon of the zip tie underneath the houseing. If you continue to use the z-clip, eventually, you'll wear through the finish and into the metal. Your call but, worth considering.

Thank you! Nother example of great Jamis CS.

Justin, thanks for the warning, I'll keep that in mind. It's probably even worse since my dropper seatpost creates a lot of cable movement since the cable gets pulled up with the seat when i raise it.
