    Front fork question

I have an '02 Jamis Dakar Comp with a manitu black front fork that i will be replacing in the next week. Just purchased an '06 Fox fork F100 RLT off ebay for $400 but now have the opportunity to buy a '07 Fox Talas for $450. The travel on my Fox Float rear shock is only 3 inches. I'm definitely a X country rider and the F100 will fit my style fine but i'm debating on whether i should try the Talus even though the travel (140-120-100) may be a little too much... Any thoughts?

Just building an XC Expert using a Fox Float 130 RLC

I will let you know how this goes. Some trusted local bike mechanics said that this will work well.

    I will let you know!
