    dragon team build

Super excited about new project. 2009 dragon team 26er frame.
I'm going to build it as a 1x9 xc machine. I'm using a Zok Corsa superleggera fork, mavic crossrides and an xt derailuer. More details to follow. I'm waiting for the frame saver to cure for a couple days before I start the build.

Sounds great. Is that the white frame with the red title block? That's a nice looking one.

I believe it's the model with the flames, really cool looking frame.I had my custom built Schwinn Homegrown stolen recently and have decided on the 2010 Dragon Team to replace it.I got it from Jenson on sale and with a coupon so it came out to only $368 shipped or something like that.I like the look of it with the subdued silver graphics and the pearl white paint, mine will be 1x9 also.Good luck on the build,I bet it is going to look, and ride, great.Post pictures when it's done, would love to see it!

Mine was the 2001 black model,I loved that frame and would love to have another but they don't exactly show up for sale everyday and I couldn't wait.I looked at the 2009 model but they only had it in the 13" size, much too small for someone 5' 11" I think.Yeah, show us some pictures.

    done sort of.
Marzocchi Corsa Superleggera fork at 80mm. Race Face Ride crankset and seatpost
Avid BB7s and Mavic Crossrides. I need to change the stem and raise the fork to 100mm.
    25lbs complete.

I looked at the WB forks but my frame is a 26 and my wheels are qr. I couldn't swing a new fork and wheelset. The xfusion is waiting for me to install it. From outward appearance, its a pretty nice fork. I rode Tsali two weeks ago on this bike with my old RS SID and was really happy with the ride.
