    Derailleur hitting chainstay

I tightened the B screw but my derailleur keeps hitting the chainstay on my Komodo. Its the Komodo One that Jenson was selling for $500. Anyone else having this issue?

You mean the rear derailleur is coming forward and hitting the stay? It's not a Jamis issue. It's a Shimano issue. New Shadow derailleurs won't do it. SRAM derailleurs won't do it. Just get yourself an old bike tube, cut it, and wrap it around the chainstay. The chainslap noise will also disappear.
I get my boards at Lux-RC.com

Yes. The chain isn't hitting, just the derailleur body. I'll try to post some pictures next week (I'm away from my bike right now).

Same issue here, and a fix.

    Issue:

    Fix:

Small 3M rubber foot, I think I got them at staples / office max / office depot or something.

The rubber foot plus the inner tube chain stay guard make the issue almost forgettable.

    Hope it helps!

Maybe your chain is too long. Does it hit in all gears or just when on the smallest cog?

Pretty much all gears, only really hits when the going gets rough.
