    current build on the xam

    here it is lately.
55micro ti fork (2010, not the 09 crap)
stroker trails 180 front, 160 out back
    easton havoc stem 50mm
answer protaper dh bars cut to 740
x7 shifters, short cage x7 rd, slx FD
    990 11-34 cassette, 22-32 up front
    ks 125mm seatpost
    wtb volt saddle
    stinger guide
hope hubs 20mm front, 12mm out back
    ringle equalizer 31 rims
ardent 2.4s, set up tubeless with gorilla tape/stans

most recent is the 2010 chainstay with the maxle. i had to swap the parts out of my hubs, but that was fairly east. its so stiff now when you get deep in turns, no flex.

Def better than what it used to have. Coming off a Chumba EVO, this bike takes some getting used to. So far so good.

The one thing I dislike on this bike is the lack of iscg mounts. WTH?

Here is a pic from when I first built it. I need to take some newer ones.

    My build:
    170mm Lyrik Coil
    Fox Vanilla RC
    Moto X cranks
    50/50 pedals
    E13 STS chain guide
XT rear derailer with SLX shifter
WTB dual duty free ride rims with Syncros hubs
    2.35 Kenda Nevegal tires
    Syncros stem/bars
Hayes stroker trail brakes 180mm rear 203 front

Comes in at 38.6lbs. I built it to take the abuse that I give it from lift access DH riding. I would like to get it down to about 35lbs if I can, but full coil suspension makes it tough.

Sounds good I should be there quite a bit.. I'm riding solo for a couple months. Turns out my buddy has a broken shoulder.

Got a new xam frame. I have a polished 2010 now. Photos to come. The chainstay from my old frame is going to be up for sale aswell.
