    Broke my 2010 sixfifty b1

I know these are prone to break there. I have a warranty claim underway but I was wondering how Jamis has handled these recently for others.

I thought I remembered reading that Jamis is out of replacements for this model and is replacing the whole frame with the newer version. Any input anyone?

    Broke my 2010 sixfifty b1

I was thinking of wrapping carbon fibre (from repair kit I have for my road bike) around this part of the chain stay as reinforcement to prevent break

    Anybody tried this?

So the new chainstay I got was green. I was gonna respray it black but found some paint in the garage I thought might match. I test sprayed a piece of metal and was pretty happy with the results. The base coat is bright silver, which covered the green in one coat, then I sprayed two coats of Duplicolor Red Anodized over that then clear. Original part is on the top

Anybody think this carbon tape reinforcement will make any difference preventing chainstay breakage?

Looks awesome. You could paint my chainstay anytime!
